Raptors, foxes, coyotes, and other predators were discussed for their vital role in maintaining ecosystem balance. Stewart T. Chong presented the Rescue Raptors Campaign, highlighting the dangers of second-generation anticoagulant rodenticides (SGARs) and safer alternatives for rodent control. The event, sponsored by the Norwell Public Library and the Southeastern Massachusetts Chapter of the Appalachian Mountain Club, also featured a live ambassador raptor from Mass Audubon.
