John Briggs | First Parish Cemetery Comes Alive

John Briggs Sr. was a shipbuilder in 18th century South Scituate who's trade was a part of the once bustling ship-building industry on the North River. The vessels he helped build went on to have great historical significance, one of which even going on to be the first American vessel to circumnavigate the globe.
